He participates in Cultural European Capital Porto 2001 musical team, endowed and directed the Educational Service of Casa da Música. Helena Costa's pupil, Oporto Conservatory graduate, he attained Robert Weisz Laval University and Harry Datyner Haute École de Musique de Genève classes. Master classes with Sequeira Costa, Jörg Demus, Moura Castro and Josef Palenicek. Concerts in Portugal, Europe, Brazil, Canada. Recording in RTP, RDP and TV Cultura(Brazil). CD's "Alla Danza", with cellist Gisela Neves, and "Live/IPP" with pianist Pedro Burmester and percussionists Miquel Bernat and Manuel Campos. He conducts the choir "Amigos da Música" and has prepared the Casa da Música Choir (Mahler 3rd Symphony). "Varella Cid" and "Marcos Garin" Prizes laureate, international competitions "Maria Canals" and "Oporto" semifinalist, he got the International Covilhã Competition 1st Prize, among other prizes.
