News | INET-md researcher invited to give lecture on music education in European contexts of underage migration
On 19 May 2025, INET-md's integrated researcher Alix Didier Sarrouy was invited to present a lecture in Paris as part of a BIP - Blended Intensive Programme of the Erasmus+ programme, dedicated to the theme of Creativity and Social Innovation.
This BIP was organised by Sophie Maisonneuve, maitresse de conférences of Sociology at IUT Paris Rives de Seine, where undergraduate students from Finland, Lithuania, Belgium and France shared a week and were able to attend Alix's lecture entitled ‘Underage migration contexts in Europe: music education as a tool for sharing, including, belonging’.
Alix Didier Sarrouy carries out research at INET-md under her project "IncArt – Migrants and Refugees in Europe: Arts as Tools for Sociocultural Inclusion" (CEECIND/00658/2018), having coordinated the funded projects YouSound – Music education as an inclusive tool for underage refugees in Europe (EXPL/SOC-SOC/0504/2021) and RESONANCES – The resonances of intercultural exchanges between students on their music teaching practices and methods (HES-SO2024).
