Specialized Seminar | Creation and interactive performance with new media | Jônatas Manzolli
On February 14th, 21st, and March 2nd, the sound studio of the Department of Communication and Art (DeCA) of the University of Aveiro (UAveiro) hosts a seminar whose objective is to bring composers and performers closer to creation and performance with new technological supports. Guiding this event will be Jonathan Manzolli, from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and UAveiro. The seminar is aimed at music students and registration is open.
The seminar, organized by the Center for Studies in Music and Dance (INET), will discuss the ecological vision of musical cognition, multimodal creation, and interaction with technological processes. Participants will be encouraged to participate in class with reading, listening, and individual and group practice activities. The seminar takes place on February 14th and 21st, and March 2nd, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm in the DeCA Sound Studio.
