This book is the result of extensive documentation work on José Mário Branco (1942–2019), initiated by Ricardo Andrade and Hugo Castro. It gathers 120 press interviews and makes accessible the unusual self-reflective depth of José Mário Branco throughout 49 of his more than 50 years in music.
