International Conference | Encontro Português: Conference on Music and the State
On 26 October 2023, at the invitation of the Department of Music at the University of California Riverside, several INET-md researchers will come together for "Encontro Português", a conference on the relationship between Music and the State.
The presentation by our researchers is preceded on 25 October by a lecture by Kimberly DaCosta Holton (Rutgers University): "Troubling the Good Time Blues: Fado Performance, Placemaking, and Border Crossing in the US".
