Workshop | Inclusive Music Education: technologies for access to music learning

There are no excuses anymore, everyone can learn music. LAbEAMUS - Laboratory for the Teaching and Learning of Musics of the Center for Music and Dance Studies (INET-md) from the University of Aveiro (UAveiro), together with other UAveiro organic units, is organizing a LabWorkshop to be held on June 28th, at 2:30pm. The goal is to present a set of technologies that facilitate access to music learning. Registration is free, but mandatory.

In this LAb: Workshop, which will also be broadcast online, resources developed by Key2enable, a startup based in Dubai and present in Portugal, which is committed to promoting digital accessibility for students with neuromotor and communication limitations, will be presented. Through their various projects, they develop innovative technological solutions that enable access to education and learning opportunities. Through its work, Key2enable has made a significant mark, empowering and inspiring users with diverse needs to overcome barriers and fully enjoy the digital world and music, regardless of age or limitations.

This LabWorkshop is organized by INET-md, together with the Digital Media and Interaction Research Centre (DigiMedia), the Department of Education and Psychology (DEP) and the Research Center on Didactics and Technology in the Education of Trainers (CIDTFF). The event takes place in room 40.2.15 of the Department of Communication and Art (DeCA) at UAveiro.
