Call for Papers | Culture and Sustainability Symposium

November 15th to 17th, 2019 | Lisboa Incomum
 
 
 
 
The festival DME - Days of Electroacoustic Music - and Lisboa Incomum presents an electroacoustic call for the symposium "Culture and Sustainability", which will take place in Lisbon Incomum from 15 to 17 November 2019.
Conference sessions are divided into four categories:
  • Sustainability and social awareness in [artistic] education;
  • The impact of climate change on the soundscape;
  • The role of art in developing a sustainable future;
  • Sustainability in an [artistic] organization.
We accept proposals for communication format up to 15 minutes (+ 5 min. for questions). Delivery of abstracts until October 6, 2019.
 
 
 
 
There is also a call for pieces.The pieces must meet the following characteristics:
  • Maximum duration 10 minutes;
  • Stereo or multichannel parts up to 8 channels; Parts with video;
  • Format: .aif or .wav; in video cases: .mov or .mp4;
  • The submitted piece must have a connection with the event's theme, which must be explained in a text attached to the form.
