The article examines how the computational studio has shifted from a tool to an infrastructure that pre‑structures and expands auditory thought, arguing that commercial AI establishes a regime of automated listening and popular aesthetic normalization that suppresses vibrational remnants, noise, and more dissonant or experimental forms of sonic expression. This regime reorganizes creativity and production, disciplines sonic temporality through platform protocols, and consolidates a mode of listening mediated by algorithmic systems oriented toward dominant aesthetic patterns, configuring what I describe as meta‑listening. Drawing on the SRT7 analytical model and a practice‑led methodology that integrates instrument and performance construction, forensic deconstruction, and relational framing, the article shows how meta‑listening operates both as a diagnostic of meta‑production conditions and as a strategy for interpreting this auditory governance. The analysis is developed through two counter‑infrastructural models, Atmospheric Hyperinstrument (2025), which converts CO₂ data into MIDI, and Cyber Attack Sonifier: Glitch Ecology (2026), which transforms cyberattack activity into sound, demonstrating how technological interventions decentered from the sonic patterns pre‑learned in LLM datasets can redistribute agency, reveal invisible layers of digital infrastructures, and cultivate posthuman auditory sensibilities. Finally, the article proposes the AI‑Chimera as a theoretical operator and relational system emerging from the intra‑action between human meta‑listening, algorithmic audition, software protocols, and environmental sensing, offering a central concept for understanding hybrid creativity arising within configured SRT7 fields.
