Titled “Alexandre Rey Colaço (1854–1928) – Pianista e Professor da Lisboa dos inícios do século XX”, the session promoted by Alejandro, during the morning of February 2nd, had as its main objectives to present, in the form of a lecture/recital, partial results of the research carried out as part of his doctoral project, and to challenge students with a practical activity introducing them to the methods and issues involved in research in music history.

The event was held at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon, and was complemented with a visit to the Library Sottomayer Cardia, guided by Cátia Carvalho, Head of the Library and Documentation Division of this School.
