CfP: Rhythm Changes Ten: International Jazz Research Conference

The call for papers for the tenth edition of the Rhythm Changes International Jazz Research Conference is open until 15 September. The conference will take place ath the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, UK, from 8 to 11 April 2027.

Beatriz Nunes, INET-md researcher pursuing her PhD at NOVA FCSH, is a member of the event’s scientific committee.

Proposals on jazz from a range of disciplines and perspectives (musicology, cultural studies, history, media studies, practice-based research) are welcome. Transnational and interdisciplinary work is particularly encouraged.
