Artistic Research School

The Artistic Research School (ARS) is designed for: (i) artists who are interested in developing postgraduate research based on the creation of new artistic ‘products’ that allow them to sustain their practice whilst developing new knowledge in music; (ii) artists interested in rethinking/developing old concepts or creating new ones for their artistic projects; (iii) teachers of performance/responsible for supervising academic projects that feature artistic production. Artists enrolled in ARS will receive feedback from expert artists and mentors concerning the following topics:
- Introduction to artistic research
- Conceptualizing artistic research projects
- Methodological issues
- The intersections between artistic research and career development
- Existing strategies for the dissemination of artistic research projects in and outside academic environments
- Artistic research and funding possibilities
Applications must be submitted through the website until 15th September 2019.
