Ana Célia Viana

Biography

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music, with a major in composition and conducting, from Universidade Estadual Paulista – UNESP. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from the Federal University of São Carlos and is a PhD candidate in Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. As a teacher, she has experience teaching music in various contexts, such as social projects, primary school and music schools. She has also worked as a higher education teacher and lecturer in the field of music education. In the academic field, she is dedicated to researching the teaching and learning of music for students with special educational needs, music in primary education and teacher training.
