Abstract
The Cant(a)eiro project aims to investigate the potential of congregating plants with current computer technologies as a catalyst for musical creation with children in school contexts. The technological component in Cant(a)eiro consists of the integration of a set of sensors with a plant that, in turn, communicate with a computer and which, in turn, is running an original digital application that allows the processing of this data in order to adopt/enable musical actions (e.g. shoot sound files, synthesize sound) and music performance.
