This book discusses some of the solutions found along this path that we consider to be good practices and that could be replicated in other contexts: individual pedagogical monitoring of teachers carried out by specialist coordinators; ongoing teacher training aimed at the various activities inherent to the project; development of various artistic modalities (singing; traditional Madeiran string instruments; dance; dramatic expression/theatre; instrumental and visual arts) and creation of artistic groups in schools; awareness-raising actions for the arts and regular promotion on television and in the rest of the media; production of events in order to allow the constant presence of students on stage (regional meetings and shows); improvement of the cultural dynamics of schools (promotion of competitions, events, regional, national and international festivals); creation of teacher recruitment groups 140 (visual expression) and 150 (artistic areas – music, dramatic expression and dance); single-teacher support in a curricular context; and creation of jobs for professionals linked to the arts.
