Roundtable | Virtual presentation of the Encyclopaedia of Music in Portugal in the 20th Century
On 14th december, 2023, the Royal Portuguese Reading Cabinet (Real Gabinete Português de Leitura) hosts a virtual roundtable about the Enciclopédia da Música em Portugal no Século XX (Lisbon, 2010), a fundamental work for the consolidation of Portuguese ethnomusicology.
During the event, the encyclopaedia will be presented by Salwa El-Shawan Castelo-Branco, coordinator of this work and President Emeritus of INET-md, as well as Pedro Félix and Pedro Roxo, co-authors, currently integrated researchers at INET-md. José Fernando Monteiro (University of Rio de Janeiro) will facilitate a conversation open to questions from the public.
