October 2013. Course assistant of the course SOIMA – Safeguarding Sound and Image Collections () from ICCROM - International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property. Nairobi, Kenya, Africa.
2009-2011. Member of the project "The memory of Jazz in Portugal – organization and treatment of the Hot Clube de Portugal collection". Project funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. 2008; 2009. Teaching about preservation of archival documents in the Historical Archives of Angola, Africa. Organized by the National Archives Institute of Portugal (DGARQ) and the Portuguese Institute for Development Support (IPAD).
2008. Treatment and mounting of twenty Chinese hanging scroll paintings. Camilo Pessanha collection from the Machado de Castro National Museum. Work as a professional free-lancer with 2 more colleagues. Project promoted by the Orient Foundation and supervised by the Portuguese Institute for Museums and Conservation IPMC.
2006-2007. Independent worker and professional fellowship in conservation & restoration. National Archives Institute/ Torre do Tombo (DGARQ/TT).Conservation of XVI-XVIII paper documents with irongall ink, mainly Inquisition processes. Co-leading environmental monitoring and biological risk management studies of all the archival deposits.
2004-2006. Scientific fellowship "Microbial Deterioration of Archival Materials from the DGEMN - Department for National Buildings and Monuments". Scientific orientation and lab work in the CREM-SABT Biotechnology Unit from the FCT/UNL, and coordination by DGEMN. Project funded by the National Foundation for Science and Technology, Portugal (SFRH/ BI/ 15131/ 2004).
