Ana Machado

Biography

Ana Machado was born in Porto on August 24, 1993. She is interested in music from an early age and has integrated several philharmonic and youth orchestras. In 2015 she graduated in History by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and in 2017 she became Master in History and Heritage by the same institution with the dissertation titled Representações Musicais em Lisboa nos Século XVIII e XIX na Gazeta de Lisboa. Her interests as a researcher are: history of culture, focused on the history of music; history of social care; history of Porto and the Douro region; and the history of wine.
