Biography
Ana Coimbra Serra Oliveira was born in Lisbon. She is a clinical psychologist – Faculty of Psychology, University of Lisbon (UL, 1998), specialist of the Portuguese Psychologists Association in Clinical and Health Psychology and Psychotherapy. Master in Sexology – Education and Sex Therapy, with a scholarship from the Institute of Sexology in.ci.sex, Madrid. (2013) Dance Therapist Movement, graduated in Movement Analysis – Pedagogy and Psychotherapy, Institut für Bewegungsanalyse, Portugal / Switzerland (2010). Founding member of Praia – Associação Portuguesa de Dança Movimento Terapia (2015). Portuguese delegate and member of the Research Group of the European Association Dance Movement Therapy. Doctoral student at the Faculty of Human Motricity – Dance specialty, UL. Research on Dance in Psycho-oncological Care in the Psycho-oncology consultation of the Portuguese League Against Cancer, since 2016. She has a background in psychoanalysis – psychoanalytic / psychodynamic supervision and is an actual member of the Portuguese Psychoanalysis Society and candidate of the International Psychoanalytic Association. She develops and collaborates in training or/and artistic workshops about Body, Movement and Psychology with students and professionals from different institutions: Faculty of Human Motricity; Teatro Experimental do Porto and Teatro D. Maria II, with Rui Pina Coelho; ISPA – Higher Institute of Applied Psychology; European Association Dance Movement Therapy; Praia – Portuguese Dance Movement Therapy Association; Portuguese Institute of Body Psychotherapy.
