INET-md researcher, Tiago Manuel da Hora, musicologist and phonographic producer, authors the book Lusitana Musica: Clássicos da discografia portuguesa de música erudita (MPMP, 2026), prefaced by Rui Vieira Nery.
Tiago has been dedicated to charting the intricacies of Portugal’s musical heritage. With Lusitana Musica, he now presents the first history of classical music recording in Portugal, highlighting key moments, landmark recordings, and the names of composers, performers, technicians, and producers who were essential to the development of this sector.
