From March 26 to 27, 2026, the INET-md hub at the School of Education of the Polytechnic of Porto will, for the first time, host the Spring School, under the theme “Theatre, Drama and Education: Here and Now.” The event will bring together renowned specialists, researchers, and professionals in the field of theatre, aiming to combine academic reflection, pedagogical practice, and interdisciplinary dialogue, thus celebrating World Theatre Day.
Among the keynote speakers, the Spring School will welcome Patrice Baldwin (‘Drama for Learning’ trainer, adviser, speaker and writer – UK) and Tim Taylor (‘Mantle of the Expert’ teacher, author and trainer – UK).

This is an event accredited with two Short-Duration Training Actions: ‘Creativity and Imagination as Pathways to Participatory Learning’ (6 hours) and ‘Drama and Theatre for Empowerment and Social Transformation: Practices, Dialogue, and Inclusion’ (6 hours).
