Performigrations: People are the Territory
Between March 24th and April 10th, 2016 | Museu da Música
The Instituto de Etnomusicolgoia and the Museu da Música will host Performigrations, a project that explores the intersection of public cultural performance, collaborative art-making, and academic research on mobilities. It proposes a new understanding of ‘territories’, one that emphasizes the performative practices of the people that move toward, within, and through them.
On March 9th, there will be a roundtable entitled “Música e Cultura no âmbito da Experiência Migratória: Circulação, Actividade, Agentividade”, organized by Iñigo Sánchez.
