Dr. Rosane Cardoso de Araújo from the Federal University of Paraná (Brazil) gave an Open Class on Musical Learning and Child Development: a conversation about cognitive transfer studies.Biographical note: Post-Doctorate in Music Education from the University of Bologna (Italy), PhD in Music from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). She is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR - Brazil), working in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Music (Master's and Doctorate). She is a researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/Brazil). She was president of the Brazilian Association of Cognition and Musical Arts, term 2014-2017 and vice-president between 2017-2020. She was Regional Director/South Region of ABEM (Brazilian Association of Music Education) from 2006 to 2009. She is the leader of the PROFCEM Research Group (Formative and Cognitive Processes in Music Education - CNPq).
