Biographical note: Graduated in Literature and Music, Master in Special Education and PhD in Education from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). She is a specialist in Music Therapy and a Suzuki teacher, with certifications in Recorder, Piano and Early Childhood Education from the Suzuki Association of Americas. She founded the Music Degree Course at the Federal University of São Carlos, the Experimental Orchestra, the Small Orchestra and Camerata of UFSCar and also the Cultural Coordination of the Pro-Rectory of Extension of the same university. She is a professor and advisor for master’s and doctoral programs in the Graduate Program in Education at UFSCar. She is also the founder of the Suzuki Center for Music Education in São Carlos, where she works as a teacher. He has published in Brazil and abroad on music education, collective music teaching, musicalization for babies, music and special education, and music teacher training.
