Tiago Manuel da Hora, INET-md integrated researcher, has produced a new album for the ‘Memória’ series published by the Edições MPMP label, this time featuring a collection of previously unreleased recordings of Portuguese chamber music performed by tenor Fernando Serafim, accompanied by various pianists (Fernando Lopes-Graça, Fernanda Losa, Olga Prats, Filipe Pires, Carla Seixas). This work is the result of Tiago Manuel da Hora’s research in the RTP/National Broadcast archive, with a selection of phonograms recovered and remastered under his direction for this new album, which brings to the public recordings made at Emissora Nacional between 1965 and 1969.
The release of Memória – Fernando Serafim will take place at the National Library of Portugal on 16 October 2025 at 6 pm and will be presented by Fernando Serafim, Nuno Vieira de Almeida and Tiago Manuel da Hora.
