SPIM, the portuguese society for research in music, in partnership with FLUC and CEIS20 – Centre of 20th Century Interdisciplinary Studies, welcomes everyone to X ENIM (20-21), an annual meeting that promotes recent research carried out by its members in the multiple areas of knowledge related to music and sound, practices, technologies and cultures. After the break of last year caused by the conditions of the pandemic, this encounter combines the selected submissions from the years 2020 and 2021, also returning to its essentially face-to-face regime, thus seeking to promote a community environment, in a cross contact between the heterogeneity of scientific perspectives and artistic that characterize this Society. SPIM’s Board of Directors appreciates the collaboration of all those involved who contribute to the continued vitality of the Society throughout its 10 years of existence and wishes everyone a great and stimulating X ENIM!
