Public presentation of choreographic works in the area of Portuguese and International Traditional Dances, by first-year students of the Dance degree at FMH and invited community groups.

As part of the Dance degree at the Faculty of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon, and specifically the course on Dance Techniques – Portuguese, International, American Tap, and Sevillanas, the 5th Meeting of Dances with Tradition: from the terreiro to the stage will take place on June 14 at the Ruy de Carvalho Auditorium.
The meeting aims to be a moment of connection with the community, creating a space to discuss the importance and contributions of fieldwork to the teaching of traditional dances with different audiences: children, young people, adults, and seniors.
The Co(m)Tradição Show concludes the 5th EDcT and features invited groups that work, in a community context, with varying degrees of emphasis on danced traditions, as well as traditional dance, Sevillanas, and American tap dance works created by first-year students of the Dance degree at FMH.
