Fausto Pizzol

Fausto Lessa F. Pizzol is a bass and double bass player with over 25 years of experience, working as a performer, arranger, and composer. He holds a PhD in Music from the University of Aveiro, with a specialisation in Performance and a focus on Artistic Research. His current research explores the application of Ecological Psychology principles to foster creative and technical development in musical performance. In 2024, he released his first solo album, featuring original compositions inspired by his investigation into the polyphonic potential of the electric bass, innovatively exploring its creative possibilities.
