Helena Marinho is a co-author, along with Samuel Barros (a former PhD student at INET-md), Alex França, and Anabela Pereira, of the article “Music Performance Anxiety: Development and Validation of the Portuguese Music Performance Anxiety Scale,” recently published in the open-access journal Frontiers in Psychology.

The article’s authors propose the first scale for measuring music performance anxiety specifically designed for the Portuguese context. The research was developed during the doctoral studies of Samuel Barros, a former member of the INET-md branch at the University of Aveiro, with the participation of Helena Marinho, a researcher from the same branch. The scale, named the Portuguese Music Performance Anxiety Scale (PoMPAS), is presented in an open-access article published by Frontiers in Psychology.
