Partnerships and Networks
The importance of INET-md’s (Instituto de Etnomusicologia – Centro de Estudos em Música e Dança) national and international research partnerships and networks lies in their ability to promote the exchange of knowledge, interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific innovation. These partnerships enrich research, broaden cultural and technological horizons and strengthen the global impact of scientific discoveries, contributing to a more integrated and sustainable development of the arts and humanities.

Since 2006, INET-md and the Convservatório de Música de Seia have been organising the Dias de Música Electroacústica Festival.

The partnership established between CIPEM/INET-md (branch of Politécnico do Porto) and the Instituto de Sociologia da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto began as part of the research projecPromover a inclusão social através do envolvimento com a música – o projeto Orquestra Geração”, with reference PTDC/CPE-CED/120596/2010.
Since then, the exchange has continued with a view to developing studies and activities in scientific areas of interest to both institutions and also to the possible construction of a joint doctoral programme.

INET-md has collaborated with the Museu da Música on exhibitions and other projects.
