INET-md’s researcher invited to keynote on the role of space in music composition

Jaime Reis, INET-md’s researcher pursuing his PhD at NOVA FCSH, and professor at ESML, was keynote at the 22nd International Conference on Artistic Research “The Conflict between Theory and Practice“, where he spoke on “The role of space in shaping polyphony within acousmatic and mixed compositions”.

The conference was held in Prague, on November 12th, on the occasion of the birth of the composer, conductor and writer Pierre Boulez (1925-2016), and organised at HAMU – Academy of Performing Arts with the support of the Institutional Endowment for the Long Term Conceptual Development of Research Institutes, as provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic in the year 2025.
