A group of researchers from INET-md collaborated in the project of cultural and scientific outreach Mestres e Sons Lusitanos, which produced a documentary series with six episodes, each dedicated to a Portuguese composer from the 18th and 19th centuries. The project, supported by DGArtes, is coordinated by Mafalda Nejmeddine, researcher at CESEM/UÉvora, and brings to the public the stories of the composers Pedro António Avondano, João Cordeiro da Silva, João de Sousa Carvalho, António da Silva Leite, Marcos Portugal and João Domingos Bomtempo. Produced by Fouad Nejmeddine, these documentaries already motivated a series of preview screening sessions in nine Portuguese cities, always sided by open lectures.

From INET-md take part Cristina Fernandes, coordinator of the research group Historical and Cultural Studies in Music, as well as Maria João AlbuquerquePaulo Vaz de CarvalhoPedro Castro (collaborator) and Rui Bessa.
