Biography
Vitor Manuel Lourenço Marques is currently a technical research fellow in the framework of the research project SOMA – Sounds and Memories of Aveiro, undergoing at the Institute of Ethnomusicology – Center for Studies in Music and Dance, University of Aveiro's branch. His collaboration started in February 2019.
Vitor Marques holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. His professional career was developed at former "Portucel" industry, in Cacia (Aveiro, Portugal) until his retirement in 2012.
His motivation to join the research project is related to a strong relationship with music, particularly Portuguese traditional music.
