Producer and musicologist, is a doctoral candidate in Musicology at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon (UNL), under the guidance of Rui Vieira Nery (INET-MD). He is Master graduated in Historical Musicology by UNL since 2010 where he studied under the guidance of David Cranmer. Between 2012 and 2014 he collaborated with CITAR-UCP where he worked on the projects "Orpheon Porto Estate", and "Estate Ivo Cruz". He is the author of the book/catalogue "Espólio Manuel Ivo Cruz: Portuguese and Brazilian Music Manuscripts" (UCE-Porto, 2013), co-author of the book "Orpheon Portuense (1881- 2008): Tradition and Innovation" (UCE, 2014), and author of the book “Joaquim Simões da Hora: Performer, Professor and Producer” (Ed. Colibri, 2015). He regularly participates in national and international conferences about musicology, and participate regularly as commentator in concerts and give workshops and courses about Music History, which stands out the annual editions of “Music and its history” at Porto City Library. In 2015 he was invited by the Porto Municipality as curator of the exhibition “Fernando Lopes- Graça e Eugénio de Andrade: o diálogo entre a música e a poesia” in the Porto City Library and at Portuguese Music Museum. In 2011 he founded ARTWAY, being responsible for the artistic management of some of the most prominent Portuguese musicians of our time in Portugal and abroad, the production of several concerts in major concert halls and music festivals in Portugal, and also with a great activity as recording producer. As director of ARTWAY, he is associate member of the AEAA – European Association of Artistic Agents, since 2014.
