Biography
Eveline holds a Ph.D. in Informatics from PUC-Rio (2015), a master degree in computer science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (1994) and a degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceará - UFC (1990). Her research mainly focuses on conceptual database modeling and semantic data integration. She was a researcher at Funceme, Brazil, from 1994 to 2020, where she worked in the area of database administration (Oracle and PostgreSQL) and in the conception/project of systems in the Information Technology Department. During her doctorate (2011 to 2015), she dedicated herself to the research on the following topics: semantic web, linked data, data mashups, ontologies, constraint verification and consistent data integration. She was a postdoctoral fellow (2020 to 2021) at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, at the Department of Communication and Art (DECA), in the area of Communication Sciences and Technologies. She studied about territorial innovation and digital mediation, and was a visiting researcher in the CeNTER project – Networks and Communities for Territorial Innovation. Currently, she is an IT researcher at INET-md (Institute of Ethnomusicology) at the University of Aveiro in the area of database design and management.
