Daniel Paiva holds a PhD in Geography from the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning at the University of Lisbon. Currently, he is working at the research project Sounding Lisbon as Tourist City: Sound, Tourism and the Sustainability of Urban Ambiances in the Post-industrial City (PTDC / ART-PER / 32417/2017) of the Institute of Ethnomusicology (INET-md) at the School of Social and Human Sciences, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
