Programa PRONORTE (1997-2001)

 

 

This project involved ethnomusicological research in the region of Alto Minho on traditional expressive culture as well as the role of local collectors and folklorists, with special reference to Abel Viana. The project also had an applied dimension, disseminating traditional music and musical instruments among students in local primary and secondary schools.
