Festival | Causa Efeito'24: New Jazz at NOVA
INET-md joins the Rectory of NOVA University Lisbon in organizing the Festival Causa Efeito - New Jazz in NOVA, which this year is held in celebration of Freedom as the principle of improvisation.

Taking place between May 23 and 25, this edition of the festival features Eve Risser, Tim Berne and Michael Formanek, three key figures in improvised music. In addition to masterclasses, concerts and unprecedented meetings, in which unlikely instruments (such as the harp, marimba or prepared piano) will be explored, the festival will host the annual meeting of the Europe Jazz Network, offering moments of debate and discussion with INET-md researchers.
